In the event of eye irritation and before any instillation of ophthalmic solution, it is strongly recommended to wash the eye. In fact, eyewash solution, used systematically before ophthalmic solution, is recommended by healthcare professionals for the treatment of eye irritation. As a first step, it cleans the eye and, above all, eliminates the irritants present on the surface of the conjunctiva. These rinses should be performed using gentle, preservative-free products.
Ophtaxia® (medical device) is a preservative-free eyewash solution that cleanses the eye gently.
Povidone is a polymer (an assembly of several small molecules) which forms a film on the surface of the eye to protect sensitive eyes from external factors. What's more, thanks to its physical properties, povidone increases the contact time of the eye drops with the eye, providing long-lasting protection.

How to use it
Vidisan® EDO is simple and safe to use:
Detach a single dose from the stem and pick it up by the labelled side. Remove the cap. Tilt your head back slightly and hold the dose above your eye. Take care to keep the dose as vertical as possible above the eye. Avoid any contact between the tip of the dose and your fingers or eyes. Squeeze the dose to release a drop. Then close the eye and move it slowly in all directions to distribute the drop as evenly as possible over the corneal surface. The recommended dose is 1 to 2 drops in each eye, depending on need. The same single dose is sufficient for both eyes.
To guarantee better tolerance, Vidisan® EDO has been formulated without preservatives; the dose should be discarded after use.
The pigments in the natural extract of Euphrasia Officinalis give the solution a yellowish colour, which in no way detracts from its quality. On the contrary, it is a guarantee of the product's quality, indicating a high concentration of Euphrasia Officinalis.
Compositions & ingredients

Composition: 1 ml of solution contains 20 mg of povidone, 1 mg of Euphrasia officinalis preparation, boric acid, sodium chloride and sodium hydroxide.
