Sebum, which is essential to the skin's balance, is a lipid that keeps it supple and hydrated. A lack of sebum leads to dry skin, but too much makes it oily and encourages the formation of imperfections. The balance of sebum production is largely controlled by hormones, notably testosterone.

Keratin is one of the essential proteins in the dermis. Containing a high proportion of sulphur-containing amino acids, it provides mechanical protection for the dermis, but too much Keratin clogs the skin's pores and encourages the accumulation of sebum, which can lead to the formation of imperfections such as blackheads.

ZIMOCURE has been specially designed to balance the production of sebum and Keratin thanks to the Original combination of Zinc and Molybdenum.

Zinc helps to maintain healthy Skin* through a number of complementary actions by promoting :
