The Doucenuit dental orthosis is a mouthpiece that treats sleep apnoea and noisy snoring. It works by gently repositioning the jaw into the correct position to keep the airway open, providing efficient relief from sleep apnoea and snoring.

This fully adjustable design holds your jaw in the correct position when you sleep. Your airways open up and you can breathe more easily and gently. The Doucenuit dental orthosis moulds to fit your teeth, helping you control snoring and sleep apnoea.

How to use it
Please read the precautions and recommendations before following the instructions for using your Doucenuit dental orthosis. It may be useful to familiarise yourself with each step before starting the modelling procedure.

If you are concerned about sleep apnoea, we recommend that you consult your doctor.
Before using the dental orthosis, consult a dentist if you have more than 4 permanent teeth extracted or if you have any dental problems.
It is also recommended that you consult a dentist if you experience any side effects from using the dental orthosis.
Stop using the appliance immediately if:
➤ You experience severe pain in your jaw, teeth or gums.
➤ Your snoring gets worse.
➤ You have difficulty breathing while wearing the device.
If you experience severe pain in your jaw, teeth or gums that does not go away when you stop using the dental orthosis, we recommend that you consult your dentist or doctor.
We advise against using this dental orthosis if:
➤ You have a serious Breathing problem, such as asthma or emphysema.
➤ You suffer from sleep apnoea of central origin.
➤ If you have a jaw joint disorder.
➤ You have severe jaw pain, loose teeth or advanced periodontal disease.
➤ You wear a partial or total denture which you remove at night and which, once removed, leaves you with few teeth.
➤ You wear fixed braces or retainers at night.
➤ You suffer from a severe malformation (also known as an 'overbite', when the teeth in your upper jaw are very far forward compared to those in your lower jaw).
you are under 18 years of age.
If you have any of these conditions, stop using the dental orthosis and seek advice from your dentist.
Use of this dental orthosis may result in:
➤ Movement of the teeth or changes in the occlusion of the teeth.
➤ Tooth sensitivity after removal of the dental orthosis.
➤ Pain in the gums or teeth.
➤ Pain or soreness in the jaw.
➤ Excessive salivation (which should disappear once you get used to wearing the brace).
Inspect your appliance before each use and when cleaning it for any signs of wear. Do not use the orthosis if it is worn or damaged.
