The Anti-Colic bottle is designed to prevent air from entering your baby's stomach, reducing the risk of colic and discomfort and minimising feed interruptions. Thanks to its built-in anti-colic valve, no air enters baby's stomach.
The anti-colic valve is designed to prevent air from entering your baby's stomach, reducing the risk of colic and discomfort. When your baby feeds, the valve built into the teat flexes so that the air penetrates all the way to the bottom of the bottle to prevent air voids. In this way, the air stays in the bottle instead of being swallowed by baby, reducing the risk of colic and discomfort.
The Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottle reduces irritability. Babies fed with the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottle experience a 60% reduction in irritability at night, compared to babies fed with a competing anti-colic bottle
The teat is shaped to encourage good sucking and its grooved texture prevents it from being crushed, for comfortable, uninterrupted feeding.
How to use it
Our Anti-Colic feeding bottle has just a few parts, so it's quick and easy to assemble.
With its wide neck and rounded corners, our bottle is easier to clean quickly and thoroughly, for more hygienic feedings.
Mix and match breast pump parts, bottles and cups to create your ideal product!
Heat in the microwave or bottle warmer on the gentle setting. Once out of the bottle warmer, screw the base back on firmly.
Même si votre bébé est très faim, toujours remuer le liquide pour répartir la chaleur.
Wait a few moments and check the temperature before feeding your baby (risk of serious burns).
Make yourself comfortable and ensure that the teat is tilted enough to be full.
Small bubbles will appear on the surface as Baby drinks. This is a sign that the flow is regular and that Baby is not swallowing air.
Looking after your feeding bottle:
1. Take the bottle apart and carefully clean each part.
Use only Soaps with a brush or soft, non-abrasive sponges to avoid scratching the plastic.
You can also wash the parts in the dishwasher (max 65°) but the decorations may fade.
2. Dry in a dry place, do not expose to heat.
Check the teat before each use by pulling on it, and don't hesitate to replace it at the slightest sign of wear.
