How can dry dandruff be treated and eliminated?
Dandruff affects many people, much more than you might think. Despite this common fact, dandruff can be extremely unpleasant on a daily basis, as it can be extremely itchy and unsightly. There are different types of dandruff: dry and oily. To recognise them, it's essential to check what they look like. Dry dandruff is the most common type of dandruff on the scalp. It is fine and whitish, and looks like snow or powder. Dry dandruff can also be recognised by the fact that it tends to fall more onto the shoulders: it does not adhere to the scalp. Benign, it tends to lodge in dry or normal scalps without causing itching or irritation. The only major concern with dry dandruff is that it is not at all aesthetically pleasing. To treat and eliminate this type of dandruff, it's essential to wash your hair with a shampoo suited to the problem, gently massage your scalp as you wash and rinse the product thoroughly. Plus, to dry your hair when you have dandruff, avoid using a hair dryer that's too hot. Finally, avoid scratching your hair on a Daily use basis.
