Omega-3s are essential fatty acids, meaning that the body does not produce them. However, they are essential for the body to function properly. In fact, Omegas are part of the composition of cell membranes and they promote exchanges between them so that the muscles and all the organs function perfectly.
The class of Omegas includes polyunsaturated fatty acids known as EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
These polyunsaturated fatty acids (particularly DHA) are recognised for their benefits, and their major roles are to maintain :

Good heart function
Normal blood pressure
Normal blood triglyceride levels
Combined with borage oil, it helps maintain good joint mobility, particularly for sportspeople who put a lot of strain on their joints.

How to use it
The fatty acids are stored in capsules to prevent oxidation.
For a good intake of fatty acids, it is advisable to consume 2 to 3 capsules a day, which represents the equivalent of 25g of steamed salmon in terms of EPA. This product is not recommended for Children under 6.
For optimum assimilation, it is preferable to take the capsules with a meal, so that the food bolus can aid digestion and assimilation.
It is advisable to take Food Supplements several months a year to feel the benefits, especially if your consumption of fish or oilseeds is low.
