Re-heat in the microwave or with a baby bottle warmer on the low position. Afterwards, check the bottle's base.
Even if your baby's very hungry, stir the mixture to make sure that the heat is evenly spread.
Wait a few minutes and check its temperature before feeding (serious burn risk).
Situate yourself comfortably, make sure that the teat is sufficiently inclined as to be completely filled by the mixture. Small bubbles will appear on the surface while the baby is drinking, this is a sign that the flow is regular and that the baby is not swallowing any air.
How to sterilise?
Always dismantle the bottle to sterilise it.
Carefully clean the 6 parts of the bottle before sterilising it.
Cold sterilisation: follow the manufacturer's recommendations and don't leave the teat in the solution longer than the time stated in the instructions.
Rinse carefully and let dry.
Warm sterilisation: Place into boiling water or vapour for 5 minutes in a heating device (follow the instructions for the device) - let dry and then cool down again before re-assembling.
Your MAM baby bottle maintenance.
The first time: dismantle the bottle completely and boil its 6 parts for 5 minutes.
The subsequent times (usual maintenance):
1. Dismantle the bottle and clean every one of its parts thoroughly. Thanks to its unique screw-on parts, it is very easy to clean both the interior and exterior of the bottle.
Clean exclusively with soap and using a bottle brush or soft sponges, non-abrasive sponges so as not to scratch the bottle. You can also wash the pieces in the dish-washer (max 65°C), but its colourful designs may fade.
2. Let dry in a dry place, do not keep in a warm place.
To re-assemble the bottle: place the valve back into the base and adjust it by firmly pressing on its sides. Firmly fix the base to the body of the baby bottle. If you feel some resistance, reposition the valve.
Check that the teat is in optimal condition before every use, by pulling it from every side and do not hesitate to change it if it shows signs of deterioration.
