Originally from the Mediterranean basin, Borneol Thyme grows in a warm, sunny climate with little rainfall. Puressentiel chose Morocco for its production because the climate there is ideal and guarantees optimum quality. Also known as Thyme satureoides or Thymus saturejoides Coss in Latin, this plant is grown in Morocco. Although it is a perennial crop, it is sensitive to heavy rainfall.
Borneol Thyme Essential Oil is more or less liquid, depending on the temperature. The Essential Oil may crystallise when stored at low temperatures. To make it more fluid, heat it in a Bath at T°<30°C and homogenise it.
It is yellow to yellow-brown in colour and is characterised by a powerful, aromatic, phenolic fragrance, characteristic of Strawberry.
It is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh aerial parts.
Borneol Thyme Essential Oil is composed mainly of monoterpene alcohols (including borneol) and phenols (including carvacrol).

How to use it
To be used for massage, face, hair and body care, diluted in Puressentiel Organic 3 Plant Oils Massage Oil (maximum 2 drops in 5 ml). For further advice on use, ask your pharmacist. Equivalence 1ml = 35 drops
