Harpagophytum is known for its beneficial effects on joint functions and helps maintain joint flexibility and mobility.
Harpagophytum root grows in desert regions of Africa, most notably in Botswana and Namibia. Its fruit has small claw-like protuberances which stick onto animal hair, these animals in turn start to shake themselves to try to get rid of them. This is why it is also known as "devil's claw". The secondary parts of the harpagophytum root are rich in active substances such as: harpagosides, harpagide, procumbide, a mix of phytosterines, triterpenes, flavonoids and chlorogenic acid.
This specific rare active ingredients formula improves mobility and drains acidity. It can be used as a seasonal treatment for times of the year when it's cold and humid, or during a period of stress or overwork, or for athletes and people who do physical labour and who are getting older.
